The water-permeable polymer fabric is made of polypropylene (PP) short fibers through opening, carding, and needle punching processes. It is used as the filter layer of drainage blind ditches in roads, railways, and roadbeds.

Short-fiber PP non-woven geotextiles are the mainstream type of geotextiles. PP short fibers are processed into continuous sheets of porous materials through needle punching, forming functional geotextiles with a certain thickness and strength. The main component is polypropylene short fibers.
